Funmed is a doctor-led precision-health clinic — and the operating system beneath it. Since 2014 we have measured, treated and followed more than 5,000 patients, and built the infrastructure to do it at scale.

Most functional-medicine practices are a single clinician with a spreadsheet. Funmed is different. We are a registered medical clinic in Sweden, led by licensed physicians — and we have spent eleven years building the platform, protocols and data model that make functional medicine reproducible.
A patient’s biology is measured broadly, interpreted by a doctor against optimal ranges, treated at the root, and followed over time in one connected system. The same method can be taught, translated and run in a partner clinic — which is exactly how we intend to bring it to the UK and the rest of Europe.

Measure broadly
Up to 200 health markers across nutrition, hormones, metabolism and inflammation — a wide biological map, not a handful of values.
Read against optimal
A physician interprets the whole picture against age- and sex-specific optimal ranges, not only the broad population “normal” routine care relies on.
Address the cause
The plan targets the mechanism behind the complaint — nutrition, lifestyle, hormones, gut — rather than muffling the symptom.
Track the change
We re-measure with validated symptom questionnaires and repeat biomarkers, so patient and clinician can both see what actually moved.

One system, from first blood draw to long-term follow-up.
Funmed runs on software we built ourselves. For the patient, everything sits in one app: results, treatment plan, digital visits, direct contact with the care team, and a growing health library of articles that explains their biology in plain language. For the clinician, the same data model gives a complete longitudinal view.
More than 20,000 people already read Funmed’s health content every month. The same system that runs our clinics in Gothenburg and Stockholm is designed to run a partner clinic, in Swedish or in English.

Functional medicine is becoming mainstream care.
Treating the cause of disease rather than only suppressing symptoms has long sat outside insurance-funded care. That is changing. In the United States — the world’s largest healthcare market — more than 150 million people gained access to functional medicine through their existing health insurance in 2026, now covered by every major insurer including UnitedHealthcare, Aetna and Cigna.
Europe is next. Funmed is building the clinical and technical infrastructure to meet it.

We are not only treating patients in Sweden. We are packaging how we work — the method, the platform, the data model and the training — so that skilled clinicians elsewhere can practise this medicine to the same standard.
